The princely rooms of the Hohensalzburg Fortress are considered a unique ensemble of late Gothic interior architecture. The goal at the same time the challenge was to convey the value of these golden state rooms to the approximately 1 million visitors per year in a narrative and appealing way, taking into account the requirements for the preservation of historical monuments. To get in the mood for the heavenly rooms, a 6-minute show – the Magical Theatre – abducts and seduces guests into the realm of the archbishop and former creator of the princely rooms Leonhard von Keutschach. A heavenly new production that was awarded the Medaglia d’oro of the Premio internazionale – Domus restauro e conservazione.
